# Quests & Missions
Worldforge has 8 quests across all zones, each with gold and resource rewards. Quests range from exploration missions to fetch quests to combat challenges.
Grassland Mission: Clear the Grassland
The main mission in the Grassland zone. A multi-stage quest that tests your combat and exploration skills.
Objectives:
Visit 5 Points of Interest (POI discovery banners appear as you find each one)
Defeat 7 Orc Warriors
Open the reward chest
Reward: +75 Gold
After completing the grassland mission, return to the hub for a payoff and to unlock further objectives.
Marina's Lost Necklace (Village)
A fetch quest given by Marina in the Seaside Village.
How to Start: Talk to Marina in the village — she'll tell you she's lost her necklace and ask for help.
Objectives:
Search the old well
Search the dock crates
Search the garden flowers
Return to Marina with the necklace
You need to search 3 specific spots in the village. The necklace spawns at one of them. Once you find it, return to Marina.
Reward: +30 Gold
After completing the quest, a reward chest also becomes available: +25 Gold bonus.
Total Reward: 55 Gold (30 from Marina + 25 from chest)
Building Quests (Hub)
Building residents in the hub offer their own quests tied to your progress:
Helena's Firewood
Objective: Gather 5 wood for Helena
Reward: +15 Gold
Other Building Quests
As you place more buildings in the hub and attract residents, additional quests become available:
Survey discoveries for Marcus
Clear orcs for Barton (the Guard Captain)
These quests are progression-aware — they only appear once you've placed enough buildings and attracted the corresponding NPCs.
Quest Tracking
Active quests appear in the HUD as a quest panel showing:
Quest name and source
Checkbox list of objectives (checked off as you complete them)
Reward amount in gold
Quest progress persists across sessions.
