Worldforge has a full economy with gold, materials, and vendor shops in every zone. Kill enemies, complete quests, and find loot to earn gold — then spend it on gear, potions, and supplies.

Gold is your primary currency for buying items from vendors. Wood and Stone are used for building.
Vendor Shops
Hub Merchant
Your main shop. Talk to the merchant and choose the Shop option to browse items. The merchant also offers:

Located at position (5, 22) in the village. Talk to Willow and choose "Show me your potions":

All loot pickups display floating gold numbers showing exactly how much you earned.
Death Penalty
When you die, you lose a portion of your gold. A "You have fallen... -X Gold" banner displays showing the exact amount lost. You respawn at the hub with your remaining gold intact.

Stock up on Health Potions before entering the Grassland — combat is unforgiving without healing
Complete quests for the most reliable gold income
Witch Willow's potions are expensive but powerful for tough fights
Gold persists across sessions, so there's no rush to spend it all at once
